If you have an imported rescue dog (or are considering it) you should read this....

Everyone is aware of rabies and most of us know about vaccinations but did you know that if you have a dog that has come from the UK that they could be carrying another, potentially serious disease that can pass to other dogs and to you?


If you already have an imported dog or are thinking about rescuing or importing, you may want to consider consider this first:


BRUCELLA CANIS

  • Dogs may show no clinical signs but can still infect other dogs and people

  • There is no treatment

  • It is zoonotic - which means you can get it
